Kept Quiera Tape Highlighter - Dual Color, Erasable

A highlighter with no ink: it sticks on, and it erases with your regular eraser.

The Kept Quiera (キエラ) by Raymay Fujii solves the oldest problem with highlighters: once you mark, there's no going back. Instead of ink, it lays down a transparent colored tape that transfers onto the paper in a perfectly straight line — and if you made a mistake, or the exam is already over, you erase it with an ordinary eraser and the page is clean again.

It won the Good Design Award 2025. The jury noted that it "allows beautiful lines, leaving only what's necessary" and that its straight-stroke design achieves both practicality and beauty.

What makes it different?

Zero ink, zero bleed-through: with no liquid, it never soaks through the page or wrinkles the paper. Use it in thin notebooks, books and planners with delicate paper like the Hobonichi.

Erases with an eraser: the color lifts off with a regular eraser. Ideal for textbooks you'll reuse, or for when you change your study system halfway through.

Guaranteed straight line: the transfer mechanism keeps the stroke straight even when you go fast. No uneven edges, no smudges at the end of the line.

Two colors in one body: each unit has one color on each end, with 3 meters of tape per color, 5 mm wide.

The three combos we brought:

Red and green (KP1321): the classic Japanese memorization combo. In Japan, students highlight in red and cover it with a red sheet to quiz themselves.

Blue and yellow (KP1318): the classic note-taking pair: blue for what matters most, yellow for the rest.

Orange and lime (KP1320): the softest of the three, made for planners and bullet journals.
